The 2011 Chevrolet Cruze has been getting some good reviews over the past couple of months. We can understand why with some of the features like a 139-hp turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine, OnStar Directions and Connections, climate control and, for those in cooler climates, heated seats. Of course, with any new product there are some new commercials and Chevrolet has really gone after the competition.

If you haven’t seen the hunting Civic commercials then be sure to check out the video below. One of the things that GM has been trying to reinforce since it has come out of bankruptcy is that it isn’t the same old company. The Cruze, like the coming Volt, embodies a new strategy at GM, one that is supposed to give the customer the things they expect from a vehicle. It is part of the “Let the Best Car Win,” strategy.

The underlying question is, are they there yet? You may have to go experience a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze or 2011 Chevrolet Volt to see for yourself. From the AllSmallCars.com perspective, it is easy for us to say that the Cruze is the best entry-level car Chevrolet has marketed in probably the last two decades. Sure it could use some more rear passenger room or maybe slightly more aggressive bodylines, but all in all it is a solid ride.
