Surprise! There's a new potential Chrysler ENVI product at the Detroit Auto Show. It's called the Chrysler 200C and it might use the same fake range-extending powertrain employed in the Wrangler, Patriot and Town and Country EVs. It's also apparently the American born Hyundai Genesis love-child.

The 200C shows where Chrysler's UConnect technology is going. It can reportedly connect with an iPhone to set the temperature control, lock the doors, view an in-car camera and track the car with GPS. So now, by the power of Chrysler and Steve Jobs' latest must-have gadget, not only can you track your unruly teens remotely, you can lock them in the car and turn the AC up to root out backseat shenanigans. Godspeed!
