It's a new month, and that means carmakers are rolling out their latest discounts and incentives on models they really want to push.

Like any other new cars, hybrids, electric cars, and diesels are subject to special offers that make certain times better for buying than others.

And with a larger number of greener cars on sale than ever before, it's worth combing through multiple models to find the least-expensive option for best value.

So here are this month's best deals on hybrids, plug-in hybrids, electric cars, and diesels for June, via Cars Direct.

Hybrids

The 2015 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid gets the biggest lease discount of any hybrid model on sale this month, at $3,500 through July 6.

That brings an MKZ Hybrid lease down to $229 per month for 36 months, with $4,279 due at signing and a mileage cap of 10,500 miles per year.

If you can live without the high-end badge and some of the luxury features, there's also the mechanically-identical Ford Fusion Hybrid.

Another luxury sedan remains one of the best hybrid deals for June.

The 2015 Infiniti Q50 Hybrid gets the same $359-per-month lease rate that's been in place since April, although the term is now 36 months instead of 39 months.

That comes with $3,599 due at signing and a 10,000-mile annual cap.

This is the last month to lease a Q50 Hybrid at that price, as the offer expires June 30.

Switching from sedans to hatchbacks, the 2015 Toyota Prius gets some generous incentives--but mostly in southern California.

In that region, Toyota's signature hybrid is offered with a $2,000 gas card for 24-month leases.

Those leases can be had for $239 a month with $1,999 due at signing and an annual cap of 12,000 miles between now and July 6.

Plug-In Hybrids

The 2015 Ford C-Max Energi represents the best plug-in hybrid deal this month. It's available to lease for $189 per month for 36 months.

That's with $3,399 due at signing and a cap of 10,000 miles a year. The offer expires July 7.

The C-Max Energi isn't quite as efficient as its nearest rival--the Toyota Prius V--but this deal does make it cheaper to lease, even with a base price $4,870 dearer than the Toyota's.

Speaking of Prius models, the 2015 Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid also gets a boost in incentives for June.

At its cheapest in southern California, the Prius Plug-In can be leased at $259 per month for 36 months, with a cap of 12,000 miles per year and $1,999 due at signing.

The offer expires July 6, and with production ending this month the next few weeks will be the last opportunity to get a new Prius Plug-In--at any price.

2015 Chevrolet Volt

Electric Cars

General Motors is still running down the clock on the 2015 Chevrolet Volt in anticipation of an all-new, second generation model--which means the current car remains heavily discounted.

The Volt is still available to lease for $249 per month for 39 months--a rate that carries over from May.

That still includes $500 due at signing and a cap of 10,000 miles per year.

The offer is good through June 30, but with production of the 2016 Volt not expected to begin until August, there's likely more time to snap up a discounted 2015 model.

GM is also offering the same deal on the Chevrolet Spark EV it did last month.

That's $139 a month for for 39 months, with no money down and a 10,000-mile annual cap.

2015 Nissan Leaf

2015 Nissan Leaf

This deal runs through June 30, but only in California, Oregon, and Maryland. The Spark EV isn't sold anywhere else.

Also unchanged from May to June is the lease deal for the Fiat 500e.

It's still available at $169 per month for 36 months, with $1,999 due at signing and a 12,000-mile-per-year cap until June 30.

The Spark EV and 500e are low-volume compliance cars, but the Nissan Leaf is the highest-volume electric car in history.

And for June, up to $12,600 in discounts also make it a very good deal.

The Leaf can be leased for $199 per month for 36 months, with $2,399 due at signing and a cap of 12,000 miles per year through June 30.

2015 BMW 328d

Diesel

Incentives on the 2015 BMW 328d sedan offered last month continue for June, making the BMW one of the best deals among the handful of diesel models sold in the U.S.

A 328d lease is still offered at $329 for 36 months--with $4,124 due at signing and a 10,000 mile cap--through June 30.

Those looking to buy instead of lease can also get a $500 "Eco Credit," and a $1,000 "Anniversary Credit" in recognition of the 3 Series model line's 40th anniversary.

At a lower price joint, the 2015 Volkswagen Passat TDI also remains a fairly good deal.

A lease at $289 for 36 months carries over from May.

Terms including $1,999 due at signing and a 12,000-mile annual cap are also unchanged. This offer is good through June 30.

Finally, the VW Touareg TDI Lux also holds steady, with a $549-per-month lease for 36 months.

That makes the big VW SUV a better deal than the Audi Q7 TDI it shares a platform with.

Putting a Touareg TDI in your garage requires $2,999 at signing. The mileage cap is set at 10,000, and the offer expires June 30.
