Tesla Motors said on Sunday that it delivered 17,400 electric cars during the fourth quarter of last year, from September 1 through December 31. Of those, 17,192 were Model S sedans and 208 were the newly launched Model X crossover utility vehicle. That brings Tesla's total deliveries for the calendar year 2015 to 50,557 vehicles, slightly above its revised guidance of 50,000 to 55,000 vehicles for the year.
