Th!nk is the Norwegian automaker that has developed a vehicle call the Th!nk city which is a 2-seat electric car.  The company has been testing lithium-ion batteries from A123 Systems as well as EnerDel for use in the car.

Despite its financial troubles and near bankruptcy the company has been selling a highway speed two seat electric vehicle in Europe.  Today they have announced plans to aggressively expand into the US market.

A press conference has been announced for March 12th in Ann Arbor Michigan. Per Th!nk:

U.S. sales of the TH!NK city will commence in mid-2010. Drawing on 17 years of experience in EV development and production, TH!NK city is a modern urban car with zero local emissions, an all-electric vehicle range of 112 miles on a single charge, and a highway-capable top speed of 62 mph (100kph). Designed to be solid, robust and unique, the TH!NK city is fun to drive, easy to park and comfortable for stop-start city driving. TH!NK city is currently available in Europe as a two-seat model with a 2+2 seating option launching later this year.
