RMAP Outstanding Car Awards Presentation by Sara Lacey, RMAP Secretary

The Rocky Mountain region is known for its scenic mountains, fours seasons and in the car industry, high altitude winding roads. It is also home to the Denver Auto Show, which as we reported yesterday opened to many people waiting to get their first glimpse at 2011 model cars, concept cars and even some classics. The Denver Auto Show is also where the Rocky Mountain Auto Press (RMAP) awards their outstanding car awards. This year was no exception and the winners could be a surprise to some in the four different categories.

Last year, you might remember that the 2009 Volkswagen Jetta TDI Clean Diesel won the environmentally friendly award from RMAP (more here). So who are the winners this year, let’s check it out.
