The Subaru WRX STi is celebrating its 20-year anniversary and as a present the folks at Fuji Heavy Industries have decided to open a museum dedicated to the model and its heritage. As such, the name for the museum has been appropriately chosen—STi Gallery. Now this gallery isn’t just about the STi, no it is also celebrating the release of the new 2010 Subaru Legacy.

Just as an aside, the new 2010 Subaru Legacy pricing was announce at the end of April and it comes in at would could be considered a surprisingly low base price of $19,995. Of course the base model isn’t what most of us dream about, so if you want the flagship 3.6R Limited it will set you back $27,995 on the low end. Oh and by the way, the V6 model is $4,000 less than it was for the previous years model, so even Subaru is trying to help consumers in the finance department. For a full review of the 2010 Legacy pricing check out TheCarConnection.com’s coverage, which also includes the complete press release.

Getting back to the STi, this is a car that has had a very successful Rally Racing career; in fact it is my opinion that the Richard Burns Subaru started the WRX STi craze here in the States. That craze has even prompted a war of manufacturers, especially with regards to the Mitsubishi Evolution. So, if you are going to be in Tokyo or know someone who is then check out the STi Blog's coverage of the new STi Gallery. With pieces of racing history and more cars than you can shake a tire iron at, it is bound to be quite spectacular.
