The fun just keeps coming this week during the Frankfurt Motor Show and as I mentioned yesterday you have to keep your eyes peeled or you might miss some of the exciting new releases. Obviously Peugeot is trying to capitalize on all the press with the announcement and unveiling of their concept BB1 city car earlier today at the motor show.

You may have seen reports from our partner site AllCarElectric.com on the recently launched iOn electric city car from Peugeot (based on iMiEV the partnership with Mitsubishi), which is their newest electric offering. The BB1 concept is a little different—it isn’t electric powered and could hint at a coming competitor for the Toyota iQ and Smart ForTwo. The thing that makes this car a unique is that the rear passengers have to almost literally wrap their legs around the front seats.

Peugeot is pushing the envelope and this concept may still need a little work, but it shows forward thinking. Until next time, keep checking back right here at AllSmallCars.com for more Frankfurt updates and everything that is all small cars.
