Last week, we announced all six nominees for the Green Car Reports 2013 Best Car To Buy award.
Now, you can see them all on video, courtesy of last week's Los Angeles Auto Show and our crack video-editing team.
As we revealed, our nominees for the Best Green Car To Buy 2013 award are:
- 2013 Chevy Spark
- 2013 Ford C-Max (Hybrid ; Energi plug-in hybrid)
- 2013 Ford Fusion (1.6-liter EcoBoost four; Hybrid; Energi plug-in hybrid)
- 2013 Nissan Altima (2.5-liter with CVT)
- 2013 Tesla Model S (40-kWh version)
- 2013 VW Jetta Hybrid
The list contains three gasoline models, three hybrids, two plug-in hybrids, and one battery-electric vehicle. (Some of the vehicles come with more than one powertrain.)
And that's as good a statement as any about the diversity of green car alternatives available in 2013.
The video really just touches on the highlights of each car, but we're running down each nominee's strengths, weaknesses, and place in the market in daily posts this week.
Watch the video, and then for more details, visit our individual posts as they come out.
