Earlier today, Toyota released the first images of its 2012 Prius C compact hybrid hatchback that will arrive at U.S. dealers next year.
The 2012 Toyota Prius C will be the fourth member of the growing Prius family, joining the classic Prius five-door hatchback, the 2012 Prius V wagon, and the 2012 Prius Plug-In Hybrid that will go on sale early in 2012.
While static images are fine, you can often get a better feel for a car's looks seeing it on the road--so Toyota also provided a 1-minute teaser video of a Prius C protoype in action.
We think it looks like a neat little car, and of course that 52-mpg-or-higher projected gas mileage rating doesn't hurt either.
