MINI Asks: Are You An Adrenaline Junkie?

MINI is known for some pretty interesting events and promotions in the automotive industry. In fact, you might recall the video releases the company put out during this years Geneva Motor Show entitled: MINIWOOD. The sense of humor of the company marketing folks and owners comes through just about everything they produce including bumper stickers that claim the vehicle is actual size and anniversary editions that have a Mission Control and talk back to you based on your actions behind the wheel. If you can personify British humor into a vehicle, the modern MINI Cooper and sister vehicles definitely are it. Keeping with that them MINI asks current and would be consumers through a new direct mail campaign: Are you an adrenaline Junkie?

The promotion is advertising the “MINI takes the States 2010” rally and MINIcross events. The MTTS event is described on the companies website as a “Massive road rallies leading up to a weekend-long motoring festival in Denver. The rally events are leaving from five locations from coast to coast and all terminate in Denver, Colorado. Then on August 14^th, 2010 there will be a festival and MINIcross autocross event in Denver for prospective and current owners and MINI fans. AllSmallCars.com will be there to participate in the MINIcross fun, will you? I mean, who can pass up an invitation to come race around a closed course in something as fun, small and, well, British as a MINI.
