You've heard about Chrysler's plans for new electric cars. According to the company's own plan, the first EV it sells will be a small convertible. The 2011 Dodge Circuit EV is planned to be a roadster--at least, that's what our partners over at GreenCarReports.com found buried in the Chrysler viability plan.

Our first glimpse of the Dodge Circuit came at the 2008 Detriot Auto Show. The Circuit looked like a Lotus Europa coupe that had gone into witness protection.Of course, in 2007, Dodge showed a Demon convertible that was fairly close to the Lotus in overall size and proportion.

Now that it has been revealed that the new Dodge Circuit EV may indeed be the first EV roadster, the question is what will it look like? Speculation says that it will be more closely aligned with the 2007 Dodge Demon concept that was designed to compete with the Mazda Miata and the Pontiac Solstice.

  1. "And how much for these?"

Even though Americans paid for ALL the R&D, and continues to pay for it... I wonder how big the price tag will be. The US paid them ( with our tax ) to rip us off.
I hate this company. Love Tesla, Goss132, Pheonix, Miles... but hate GM
for the crap they pulled. Bet Goss132 will be lower than half the cost of this thing.
