This weekend a brand-new dealership is celebrating their grand opening in San Jose, California. Why is this news-worthy to electric car gurus? Because it's a ZAP dealership. ZAP, makers of the popular three-wheel Xebra sedan and (larger) XL Truck, plan to open a network of 50 electric vehicle dealerships across the U.S., and the first, Ethical Approach Electric Vehicle Center, will begin offering electric economy cars starting at just $11,700 MSRP.
Ethical Approach is located at 3806 Stevens Creek in San Jose. Their phone is 408-355-9940. Anyone who visits the dealership this weekend ought to ask about their "word-of-mouth" grand opening special. According to the ZAP website, you can hold a Xebra for $99, which would count as a $199 deposit when you actually purchase the vehicle.
