New-car ratings, driving impressions, and a lot of lengthy discussions go into picking our Green Car Reports Best Car To Buy award winner each year.

We explained our process yesterday, along with all of our nominees for the 2015 award, but this year we thought we'd add a new element.

DON'T MISS: Green Car Reports' 2015 Best Car To Buy: The Nominees (Video)

While the full set of High Gear Media editors collectively decide on which cars win the annual Best Car To Buy award on each of our three sites--The Car Connection and Motor Authority are the other two--we wanted to see what readers thought as well.

So we've built a poll to get your collective opinions on which car should win.

Are you a fan of the 2015 Audi A3 TDI, the diesel compact luxury sedan that gives Audi an offering Mercedes can't match with its CLA 250 compact sedan?

Or perhaps you feel the 2015 Honda Fit should be our winner, for its 36-mpg combined EPA rating and its unparalleled interior versatility and cheeky character.

Then there's the 2015 Hyundai Sonata Eco, newly on sale, which likely will have fans who compared it to the smaller of two Ford Fusion EcoBoost models and opted for the Eco's higher gas mileage.

Finally, perhaps you support the 2015 Volkswagen Golf range, stretching from downsized and more efficient turbocharged gasoline engines to a new TDI diesel model and even an all-electric e-Golf?

Whichever vehicle you think should be the winner, vote for it--and we'll watch the results with great interest.
