Today, the Principality of Monaco signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mitsubishi that will make it first in line to receive the European iMiev test vehicles by the end of this year. The zero on-road emissions iMievs test vehicles will be used by the Monte Carlo SBM hotels and casinos, and by community organizations such as the post office and telecommunications company. Mitsubishi hopes that dispersing their iMievs across test markets in Europe will give them an idea of how they will perform in various climates, and for various uses, a sort of real-world trial by fire.
