Yesterday at the National Automobile Dealers Association annual expo in New Orleans, ZAP unveiled their three-wheel roadster, the Alias. The Alias, shown in its running pre-production form, features upward hinging doors, seating for two, an estimated 100-mile range, 0 to 60 in 7.8 seconds, and a relatively reasonable prince point of less than $35,000. Signature Series Alias roadsters will be available this year in limited numbers, but ZAP does plan to mass-produce the Alias as well. ZAP is taking $1,000 deposits to hold an Alias, with delivery slated for late this year. Reserve one
