European electric cars that will never cross the pond

Hybridcars.com has compiled a list of European EVs that are the proverbial forbidden fruit for the American EV enthusiast. European coachbuilders tend to build a small line of cars intended for a local audience, so the models in this collection are unlikely to cross the pond to the American market.

The highlights of this European collection include designer names like Pininfarina and Karmann, but the Ford F-150 Hi-Pa currently intended for the UK is the one vehicle on the list with a drive system that may cross the Atlantic. The Hi-Pa system uses in-wheel electric motors to power a four wheel drive, full-sized EV truck producing more than six hundred horsepower.
