2011 volkswagen jetta sportwagen Professional Edmunds Review
Source: Edmunds

...The manual achieves 23/33/26. The Sportwagen TDI is powered by a 2.0-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder good for 140 hp and 236 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is standard and a six-speed automated manual transmission known as DSG is optional. The latter features a Sport mode that quickens shifts and performance. In Edmunds performance testing, a Sportwagen TDI with DSG went from zero to 60 mph in...

Take off at 2,000 and you’ll be rewarded with a budding power curve that won’t disappoint. Both transmissions are smooth, clean and strong with solid pedal response. The manual doesn’t feel significantly faster than the automatic, but offers a big fun increase that can’t be matched by the automatic, even with the manual shift gate. Fuel economy doesn't change significantly with either transmission, and the manual even beats the automatic in combined mpg...
