2009 mitsubishi lancer Professional Edmunds ReviewSource: Edmunds...When added to the Lancer GTS, this CVT includes a manual mode operated via paddle shifters. The Ralliart features a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 (237 hp and 253 lb-ft), an automated twin-clutch manual transmission (with shift paddles), and all-wheel drive. The GTS with a manual transmission accelerates from zero to 60 mph in a quick-for-its-class 7.7 seconds. The base engine with the five-speed does the same sprint in 8.8 seconds, while the CVT gets there in 9.1. The Ralliart is very quick, with the 0-60 dash done in just 5.8 seconds. Fuel economy is subpar for this class. The 2.0-liter... |

2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Professional Cars.com ReviewSource: Cars.com...Lancers have a four-wheel-independent suspension. The base DE comes with 16-inch steel wheels, while the ES has alloy wheels of the same diameter. GTS and Ralliart versions get 18-inch alloy rims. Interior The five-seat Lancer's cabin has a more upscale appearance than the previous generation and features an entirely new dashboard. A 60/40-split folding rear seat comes in ES and GTS trims. There is 11.6 cubic feet of trunk space. A CD stereo is standard, and the GTS can have an optional Navigation and Technology Package that includes a navigation system with a 30GB hard drive and Mitsubishi's... |

2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Professional Cars.com ReviewSource: Cars.com..." There's lots of room and the layout is open and simple. The keyless entry and push button start add a touch of class that most compacts don't have. The carbon fiber trim is neatly laid across the dash and the seat is comfortable. Upon closer examination, however, I thought the interior could have used better materials and a few upgrades would have made a big difference in its lasting impression. The dash vents were missing trim and the three knobs across the center stack felt cheap to the touch. Pieces were cut into the dash instead of placed there. There's a sense that the car's interior... |

Review: 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer RalliartSource: MSN Autos...No Evo-spec Brembo brakes here.Inner SpaceThe cabin of the Ralliart is a carbon copy of the rest of the Lancer lineup, which was redesigned in the 2008 model year. The cluster is clean with side-by-side tach and speedo readouts sandwiching an LED data center that provides gear selection, fuel level, fuel mileage and other important info at a glance. The steering wheel is Evo MR-issue with audio controls, and the shifter is a nice leather-wrapped unit. The stock seats are a great combination of support and comfort and may keep many from opting for the Recaros. Like the suspension, the interior... |

2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Professional Cars.com ReviewSource: Cars.com...I doubt Ralliart buyers would mind this transmission's character; they might even prefer it. Unlike the Evolution, the Ralliart doesn't include a super-aggressive Super Sport mode intended for track use. If you prefer to shift for yourself, you can use the lever or paddles, the latter of which are mounted on the steering column so you always know where they are, regardless of steering-wheel position. To improve fuel economy, the Ralliart's 5th and 6th gears are higher than those in the Evolution. The Ralliart is rated at 17/25 mpg city/highway. Sportier, But Livable, Suspension The chassis is... |
