2012 MINI Cooper S Countryman Professional Cars.com ReviewSource: Cars.com...You can also get 19-inchers from the dealer. Like Mini's cars, the Countryman offers a slew of accessories for customizing the vehicles, including exterior decals and other cosmetic upgrades. The Size is Mini I know it's larger than the other Minis, but in its class this crossover is a small one, with just four seats. The upcoming Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is a likely competitor, and some will say the same of the Nissan Juke, though the Nissan seems more like a four-door hatchback. 2012 MINI Cooper OverviewSource: CarGurus...Equipped with the standard 6-speed manual, the Base MINI will do the 60 jaunt in just 8.4 seconds and still return 29 city mpg/37 highway. Choosing the automatic means a big drop in acceleration however, taking a leisurely 9.7 seconds to do the same 60 sprint. The S adds forced induction in the way of a turbocharger and does much better with 181 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque. With the temporary overboost engaged, that can be bumped to 192 lb-ft and shoot the little hatch to 60 mph in 6.6 seconds with the 6-speed manual. Even with that significant power boost, the S still manages a 27/36 fuel... |

2012 mini cooper roadster Professional Edmunds ReviewSource: Edmunds...the Roadster is virtually the same length as a regular Cooper but loses the minimalist rear seats in favor of a more intimate cockpit and a more formal body style, meaning it has a trunk (or boot, if you prefer) instead of the convertible's rear tailgate. Apart from the soft top, the Roadster will be similar to the Coupe in terms of trim levels and powertrains. As such, base, S and John Cooper Works versions will be offered with their three corresponding inline-4 engines -- a 1.6-liter with 121 horsepower, a turbocharged 1.6 with 181 hp and a more potent turbo 1.6 with an impressive 208 hp... |

2013 mini cooper countryman Professional Edmunds ReviewSource: Edmunds...Featuring direct injection and variable valve lift borrowed from its BMW corporate parent, optimized intake and exhaust systems and a larger intercooler, the improved engine makes 211 horsepower and 207 pound-feet of torque. An overboost function can briefly push midrange torque up to 221 lb-ft. Mini says a manual-equipped Countryman JCW will cover zero to 60 mph in about 7.1 seconds, or about 7.5 seconds when equipped with the automatic. Even with the added power and standard all-wheel drive, fuel economy should still remain pretty high. An enhanced sport suspension complements the... |
