For what it's worth, Honda continues to claim that the front seats recline all the way to create something of a bed, as they do in the Honda Element. I continue to claim that even Michael Phelps isn't double-jointed enough to rest comfortably on this thing. However, I didn't like that I needed to press a button a hundred times to tune the radio; dial controls, which the Fit didn't have, are so much easier to use. While the seat upholstery was too downscale for my tastes, the driver's seat was comfortable with firm cushioning. However, both the driver and front passenger seats weren't very adjustable. If you're afraid to put the pedal to the floor, though, the Fit may feel underpowered. I frequently had to bury the pedal to pass or merge on the highway. While cruising at highway speeds, the Fit didn't like to maintain a steady pace; I had to play with the throttle to keep up with traffic. Other Cars.com editors noticed this inconvenience as well.
