2009 Acura TSX Professional Cars.com ReviewSource: Cars.com...In back, however, it's snug. Door openings are narrow and hamper entry/exit. Once in, well, leave your legs out. The 2009 is about 2.5 inches longer and about 3 inches wider than the '08. The added width is welcome news for the hips; the added length would be better appreciated if it contributed to rear-seat leg and knee room rather than just a bigger footprint on the pavement for stable handling. The trunk is massive and would hold a month's worth of luggage or grocery bags. But cutting back to three week's worth would free an inch or two for the back seat. If you need to carry more, rear... |

2009 Acura TSX Professional Cars.com ReviewSource: Cars.com...It's a four-cylinder, and it doesn't have any get-up-and-go. It's fine for point A to point B driving, but it doesn't have the oomph I expected. I'm chalking that up to the fact that it's an automatic, not a manual, but if you're thinking of buying the TSX, you should know that all of its competitors have V-6s (and are also a little more expensive). The steering was tight and kind of fun, and the front seats were comfy and contoured. It was all black leather and dark - very "sport package." Em and I both liked the secret compartment in the center stack, next to the driver's right knee. It's a... |

2009 Acura TSX Professional Cars.com ReviewSource: Cars.com...Accommodating cockpit The bigger body on the TSX creates a bigger interior. The dual cockpit design is comfortable, even for some of the super-sized drivers found on American highways. While the overall layout of the dash has a nice flow, the centerstack down the middle is a mess. Knobs and buttons and the giant dashboard goiter stick out like an embarrassing disfigurement. The goiter operates the navigation screen and is easy to use after a few minutes of testing, but its size is overwhelming. But there's a reason for so many buttons. The TSX, when you purchase the technology package, comes... |

They include a GPS-based navigation/communications system with Voice Recognition, Zagat restaurant information, and an integrated rearview camera; the AcuraLink satellite communications system; real-time traffic with a new rerouting function; AcuraLink weather; a 10-speaker Acura/ELS premium sound system with multi-format, six-disc DVD-audio... |

2009 Acura TSX Professional Cars.com ReviewSource: Cars.com...Paddle shifters on the steering wheel are handy for changing gears, and they can be used for a quick downshift without moving the shift lever out of drive. The TSX cabin is not only larger than before, but it is more refined. The instrument panel wraps into the center console in a way that makes the front seat feel like an airplane cockpit. The instruments have floating needles, and the navigation system uses an 8-inch LCD screen in the center of the dash. The front bucket seats grip your body and are as comfortable as any seats I have sampled. The headrests that are designed to move forward... |

2009 Acura TSX Professional Cars.com ReviewSource: Cars.com...The automatic includes shift paddles on the steering wheel that gives the driver control of gear changes. Safety The TSX has antilock brakes, side-impact airbags for the front seats, side curtain airbags, an electronic stability system and active head restraints for the front seats. The sedan also incorporates Acura's Advanced Compatibility Engineering body technology. ACE is designed to better engage vehicles of different sizes during a crash so the car's crumple zones are fully utilized. Driving Impressions I drove the TSX in and around San Diego, on expressways, city streets and winding... |

2009 Acura TSX Professional Cars.com ReviewSource: Cars.com...to promote these products? These people should be shamed like Japanese companies used to shame their employees: They should be made to stand in front of their building in their underwear shouting abject apologies and self-recrimination while being berated by their superiors. The good old days. Have you seen Honda's new brand image commercial, the one with all the company's products: jets, snowmobiles, outboard motors, ATVs, fuel-cell vehicles, even a knock-kneed robot named Asimo? Where is Acura? Surely if you promote your private-jet business, you can promote your luxury car division. Well... |

CarGurus' Review for 2009 acura tsxSource: CarGurus...the 2009 TSX will never be confused with the sportier European imports, but does offer an ideal blend of upscale comfort and superior driving dynamics, all guaranteed by the reliability that goes along with the Acura name. Updates this year have improved handling, but done little else to distinguish the TSX from other sedans in its class. Boasting an array of state-of-the-art technology, a luxury cabin, and the oft-overlooked but very important strong safety profile, the '09 TSX works well for small families willing to pay a bit more for creature comforts or single drivers who like to let... |

Review: 2009 Acura TSXSource: MSN Autos...freshened instrument graphics and a thicker, leather-wrapped steering wheel represent some of the detail improvements, but the major upgrades are in the optional Technology Package’s electronic aids. Three interior colors — Ebony, Taupe and Parchment — are offered. On the RoadSlashing through mountain curves confirms Acura’s strengthening of the TSX’s body shell. This was accomplished via a cross-braced roof, replacement of bolted body junctions with welding, and more high-strength steel. The A-arm front and multi-link rear suspension — along with the subframes to which they attach... |
