  1. "Mr."

Comparing the 2009 to the 2010, the cargo space on the 2009 is listed at 14.4cu feet. I cannot find an official number for the 2010, but Edmunds has it listed as 21.4cu feet. Is this accurate? If so, how did they get so much more cargo space? Thanks.

  3. Does anyone know if those fancy alloys on the top-of the-line Prius (and as in photo above) will be available as a single option on the lesser Prius's..?

  4. 30 days ? I see 9....... Our 'earthwheels' are on order. Didn't have to debate my wife over which blue to get. Wanted the solar/moon roof, but in zip 12590 I'd have to spend $30k (different packages in different geographical areas!) The solar roof is primarily for the south & southwest- hot.

  6. There are still several things missing. I'd like to see an analysis of the electronics: Navigation, Audio, voice control, parallel parking...

  7. My battery light never fully charges. Is that going to be a problem? How does one make sure it stays charged?

  8. Ann Blondheim #8 -- I expect you refer to the box of purple/blue/green bars showing charge on the traction battery. If you coast down a long hill (or drive extremely frugally at low speeds) you can eventually top off with all green bars (full charge). Once it's full, any additional energy you try to add is thrown away. Normal driving won't easily get it that high, but instead varies up and down around the middle range (blue bars).
If the battery somehow gets low (purple bars) from extended extreme acceleration or other oddity, the engine automatically runs to just charge it back up.
Don't worry. Everything's handled by the computers. All you have to do is buy gas and drive gently.
If you want to get 50+ MPG, look up hypermileage. World record on the Prius is 110 MPG, 1400 miles on one tank of gas.
