Prefer it over the RAV4 I used to own.

...It is located on the left side of the steering wheel, it makes for confusion between that and the power door lock for the driver. I wish the horn buttons were in the center steering wheel. It is sometimes hard to reach or remember where the horn buttons are. The seat could go back a little more, as I am a tall person. My legs feel a little cramped with the 5-speed. I do not recommend very long trips with it, since you may come out of the vehicle cramped. The seat does not give good support. Overall: I do recommend this vehicle for its reliability and safety. The NHTSA crash test determined...

Excellent Suv

The little SUV that could!
Source: MSN Autos

...Cons: This vehicle definately needs more power! It also needs legroom in the rear seat. I pity the person who has to sit behind me when I drive! I know this is a SUV, but sometimes the ride can jar the nerves! I dont recommend taking long trips with family in the car. It is a little too close for comfort. Good luck with the dealer! Nuff said.... Overall: The reliability has been excellent! A good one for everyday driving, but long trips can be rough! Not the best experience with the dealer though! If you want a SUV that doesn't ride like a barge go for it! After three years I am ready trade...

Mistake if you don't have a repair budget.
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Seemed nice, and handled well. Better gas mileage than I expected from a truck.
Cons: The manual transmission fried itself, conspicuously within 800 miles after the drivetrain warrantee expires.
Of course, no one at the dealer or Toyota corporate would assist in repairs.
Turns out it was a part that had to have been worn out for 1000's or miles before even showing a symptom.
$2000 later, I can drive my RAV again. Overall: Piece of junk, I would rather depend on a Ford escort to take me through a North Dakota blizzard...

Sporty and Reliable
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Runs exceptionally well. Has a lot of pick up and go.
It is sporty and cute. Cons: The soft top is a bear to assemble and disassemble.
Needs a small private cubbie or cover for the area that would serve as a trunk, especially for security purposes. Overall: Great mini SUV with great gas mileage...

Cutting Edge Of The SUV'S
Source: MSN Autos

...A big inconvenience. I don't like the position of the Muffler. It looks unsightly and make the truck look cheap from the rear. I would also add another two feet length from the side rear door to the bumper. You need to lower the bumper to cover the muffler. Oh! Why would you place the rear speakers in the trunk area. My son complains everyday, turn up the speakers. At least place a set in the rear doors. Overall: I really think Toyota out-did-itself. This truck has everything it's larger SUV'S have but at a lower price. It looks good, ride great, handel well, and it is great on gas. I have...
