Value for Money

...Have had a fully loaded version of this car for 18 months now.
Mileage varies from 37/38 in spring fall, but drops to 34/36 on hot or very cold days.
I drive reasonably well, and am not a hypermiler. Comfy and quiet ride.
Interior is OK, GPS not as good as a Garmin. iPod interface can be improved (but but he sound system is great). Cupholders suck - have had coffee cup topple over twice on sharp turns...

My Camry Hybrid

...Pros: Great car. Good mileage, smooth. I have had no problems in over 45,000 miles.
Engine has excellent mid-range power and torque Cons: Original tires do not last very long and have poor winter traction Overall: Overall we are pleased with the Camry Hybrid.
Just plan to keep it for quite a while to make the extra expense of the hybrid worthwhile.
You can improve the mileage you get by keeping the speed to 70 on the highway and learn how to feather the throttle in town.
Under 43 mph can keep the car in electric mode. In congested traffic this vehicle gets great...

Over 150,000 trouble free miles
Source: Edmunds

...I have driven my Camry Hybrid now for 4 years and 152,000 miles.
The only time this car has been to the dealer is for regular fluid changes and a rattle in the dash when it was new.
I am still on the original front brake pads. I changed the rear brake pads at about 130,000 miles.
The car still drives like new. These cars are turning out to be extremely reliable if the regular maintenance is done.
The dealer told me he has a Camry Hybrid taxi cab that comes in for maintenance and had 490,000 miles on it last time he saw it.
No repairs, just maintenance. Lifetime fuel...

50K and still going strong
Source: Edmunds

...My 09 Camry Hybrid is approaching 3 years old and just hit 50K miles.
The car has been extremely reiliable, with no mechanical failures and just doing basic maintance (oil changes every 5-7K, tire rotations, etc).
I live in Maine, so in the winter, the mileage does drop to around 32,
but in the summer, it can be as high as about 38 - that's not to say that I can't get above that for shorter amounts of time,
but I've yet to have a full tank average more than about 39MPG......I'm still very happy with the mileage, especially with current gas prices...

Very Pleased, except with the trunk
Source: Cars.com

..."Really enjoy the Camry Hybrid. Great Commuter, very comfortable, really quiet!
Currently getting 36 mpg overall. Holds 4 comfortably, however for a family of 4 going on a trip the trunk is small.
No way around it! Do like what Toyota is doing with the 2 year "Customer Care" no charge.
Keeps the vehicle running great. Performance- well it's a HYBRID!
But passing on the highway, no problem. Interior is solid and functional.
I think the styling is satisfactory but neighbors and friend think it looks sharp. Very good deal on the car. Great experience at the dealer."...

Love this car
Source: Cars.com

..."The only negative regarding this vehicle is the interior storage space is limited.
We previously owned a different brand vehicle and had much more interior storage for extra water bottles, tissues, CDs etc.
There are a number of storage places in the door, dash, etc. but they are very narrow and will not even allow you to place a water bottle in them. Also no place to put a trash container...

THE BEST ONE.

...Pros: ONE WORD EVERYTHING! SECOND WORD BUY IT. Cons: QNE WORD NOTHING. Overall: MY SECOND ONE-FIRST 2007 THEN 2011 AND I AM SHURE I WILL BUY AGAIN...

2007 Camry Hybrid
Source: MSN Autos

...No issues whatsoever, never had the gas pedal stick and no issues with the driver side floor mat. So far, the only maintenance has been oil changes and alignment and I have had the car for 4 years and 70K miles. As for power, with the CVT it actually does get out of its own way pretty decently too. The shift between gas/battery mode is a change from gasoline powered, but pretty smooth all in all. The JBL stereo is a nice touch as is the Bluetooth phone capability. This was my first Toyota after owning GM, Mazda, and Dodge and I will never go back. Cons: This was the most expensive vehicle I...
