Rockin Roadster.Source: MSN Autos...Only 17K on the tires and I have to replace all four tires. Overall: My first roadster was a Datsun 1600 way back in the late 60's and I waited until I was 61 to buy another. My wife and I wanted a roadster and looked around quite a bit. We found this one owner MX-5 that was in pristine shape in brilliant black color with all the bells and whistles for the Grand Touring Model. One of the best decisions I have ever made. This car puts a smile on your face just looking at it and that smile increases as you drive it. I replaced the OEM tires with Yokahama S.Drive and wow what a difference... |

The ultimate roadsterSource: MSN Autos...Love everything about this car, especially the smooth engine and the 7-speed auto transmission. When in manual mode and using the paddle shifters, the engine sound is awesome and the shifts are so fast the car literally "pops" between 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears when the right foot is planted. Plan to keep for many years as a touring roadster for the mountain states. This is just way too much fun. Named the car "Lola" as it is part woman (exterior beauty) and part man (muscle under the hood). Cons: All of the car magazine reviews talk about the steering being too light. Yes, it is light compared... |

Classic Roadster Formula UpdatedSource: Edmunds...So once I graduated and got a job, I bought one!!! It's an awesome little roadster. It corners flat and with the 1.9 you don't have enough power to really make it loose it's composure. The 1.9 z3 has adequate power with the manual transmission and very good handling. I'd avoid the automatic b/c the engine does not provide enough torque. Having test drove a MR2 spider and a Miata, I prefer the Z3. It's better looking, better value and is extremely comfortable. Oh and my gas mileage has to be around 35mpg. I drove a 2.3 (slight improvement) and a 2.8 (seriously quick), but in the end preferred... |

THE SPORTSCAR You'll Never Look BackSource: MSN Autos...handles like a high power go cart on rails (really unbelievable), smooth handling to top speed well over 130 mph, great headlights, gorgeous two tone leather, elegant simple controls Cons: Goes from 60 to 130 mph much too easily (one could get in trouble), seat could go back just a little further or recline just a little more, useless in snow, my golf driver won't fit in the trunk (but the rest of the clubs in the bag will) Overall: The best little sports rocket you may ever drive. I've never been a car guy, but I love this car. I love this car. I have 115,000 miles on it and it really is all... |

NISMO Z after trading a Roadster Z for it...Source: MSN Autos...and front and rear additional stiffening braces and such along with 19" rear and 18" front "Rays" ( lightweight wheels ) and with stiffer struts and so on...very noticable handling improvement over the Roadster...I'm becoming convinced my choice was a even trade + the NISMO is definately more fun to drive (more often) than the Roadster... the exhaust note so powerful through the gears...both are wonderful and well made cars; I liked the interior of the Roadster better with the leather power seats and the Bose stereo tho... Cons: NISSAN should have built the NISMO with the Bose system and the... |

Awesome Fun/1Source: MSN Autos...brights, backing sensors, a/c works well as does the heater, i like the toggle switches, access. dash mounted cup holder is great. Cons: with top up: rear rightside blind spot; to the rear is no problem for me as mini is shorter than anything else and cars behind are very visible and b/up warning works well so i'm not sure why others complain so much. with a convertible-rear window can only be so large. fasten shld. harness before closing door makes that much easier. Overall: overall, i am very pleased. bought mine used and it does not have all the features offered, some of which i would like... |
