Happy with the hybrid
Source: Cars.com

..."Bought this 2 months ago and have about 1200 miles on it.
Averaging over 37 MPG, a little better than I expected considering the reviews.
I love the technology but the voice commands can be a little touchy.
Acceleration is sufficient though the engine groans a bit on heavy uphill acceleration (no surprise there).
Handling, fit and finish are great. I am very happy I got the full screen back-up camera as rear visibility is compromised. Bluetooth is wonderful."...

So fun to drive and thrifty on gas too!!
Source: Edmunds

...This is a great car, really feels good and solid to drive.
It has good acceleration and firm road handling. So far im getting about 48MPG in light traffic and about 44 with some canyon driving.
So impressed with this car it does everything but the dishes...

Milan Hybrid

...Looks like I will be getting 600 miles on my first tank of gas.
I am averaging around 32 mpg with around 41 mpg on short trips.
I love the car so far. The technology in this car is amazing.
I can go electric mode (EV) at 47 mph for about a mile.
The change from EV to gas hardly noticed. I have plenty of power on the highways and it is a joy not using any gas or putting carbon in the air while under 47 mph or at stop lights.
You can run the air while in EV mode also. So I do not feel guilty waiting on someone to come to the car while I sit with the air running! The car...

Buy This Car

...Pros: I like everything! This automobile has exceeded every area of need and want.
It has many features which should make anyone happy.
Mileage is above stated ratings. Handling has very good responces.
Accessories are in great abundance with safety being at the top of the list.
If you can find this car, Buy it! Cons: Only missing 2 items - Home Link and more interior color choices. Overall: Mercury needs more cars with many of the features this cars has...

The One to BUY Beats any Hybrid out there
Source: MSN Autos

...If you use the empower setting on the dashboard you can learn to manipulate the engine to get 40 mpg with just a little care. I've owned it since july have 6,000 miles on it with a combo of city/highway mileage. As far as handling you wouldn't know its a hybrid. Cons: The only thing I wish it had was a little more torque with the electric engine from point of accelartion then I would probably get 43 mpg's that is the only reason I gave the performance an 8. The slightly small truck. Overall: If your looking to come back to an american car this is the one. An AMAZING vehicle I would totally...

Hi Quality, Hi Tech, Hi Mpg, and American Made

...Other times, it will run in EV mode and I just can't figure out if there's anything I can do differently to get the car into EV mode. Overall: I placed my Purchase Order for the car in December 2008 sight unseen based on the acclaim from the LA Auto Show and Road and Track's Car of the Year review. I don't work for Ford and I have nothing but stellar things to say about the car. I took delivery of the car in March of 2009, have put 11,000 miles on the vehicle, and the computer states that I have averaged 39 mpg since I got the car. A tankful of gas typically lasts for 600 miles and I...

As good as advertized
Source: Cars.com

..."Owned it for 4 months, with 5k put on the odometer.
Wonderful car, best I've ever owned.Unexpected features not figuring prominently in the reviews: it's quiet, even at freeways speeds.
Electrical-gas shifts are usually unnoticed except under hard acceleration or starting from a dead stop.
Handles and brakes like a regular car. EPA MPG figures are real, at least for benign California weather.
In mixed city/freeways driving usually average about 36 MPG with heavy AC use and 41/42 MPG without at refill. My freeway mileage at 65 MPG cruise control is 42 MPG."...

Loving my Milian Hybrid
Source: Cars.com

..."Very happy with my Milian Hybrid. Before the extreme cold set in here in the DC area I was averaging around 36-40 mpg without any special driving techniques.
I really enjoy the technlogy and the high torque I get when accelerating. The whole Microsoft Synch system with the jukebox and voice activation. A nice full size vehichle. Highly recommended."...

excellent choice
Source: Cars.com

..."had the vehicle one month with 3500 miles to date, including an 1800 mile trip.
gas mileage is excellent, averaging 37 plus mpg, even at interstate speeds.
love the sync and stereo. ride is fine. seats are comfortable for a long trip.
love the guages, with the instant mpg feature. it makes me drive slower as i am a recovered leadfoot. first ford product i have ever owned, as i am an ex GM guy.no complaints so far."...

The Lone Star in my Texas Garage
Source: Edmunds

...Got the car fully loaded except for DVD player who needs it,
had remote start added by Mercury dealer who did not
install the antenna so drove it a years till I had it serviced at a Ford Dealer nearer my home who fixed problem beware WestPoint Lincoln/Mercury dealership in Houston,
TX, the car is great the dealership needs to be looked at by Ford or HPD bunko squad. I will not go near the place again for anything!...
