I Love My 2008 Tribute!Source: Edmunds
...This is a wonderful SUV. The first road trip I got 25 mpg with not even 1000 miles on the vehicle! |

Bad Transmission at 40,000Source: Edmunds...Had no major problems till the transmission went out at 40,000. I just could not believe it. Yes it was covered under the warranty but I still feel that is not the point. I have never had problems with any past car till I bought a MAZDA. Never never again. I will be taking a loss on the vehicle but I will be getting rid of it now. Plus it has a faulty overhead light. Plus the skid protection is horrible. You skid plenty all over the place. And with more then an inch of snow your screwed cause without 4x4 it will not move at all... |

LOVE IT!!!!Source: Edmunds...The Honda 4 cyl. isn't enough for the weight of the Element. I also had a CRV and the Tribute blows the doors off it. It has exceptional power to it without hesitation. No problem getting on the highways or passing. I have no intention of towing with it. The inside is way above the inside of the Honda's. The Tribute has a more elegant look to it and tons of leg room and cargo space. The long list of standard equipment provided is what also makes the Tribute and excellent choice for the money! I love it, but it could be betterSource: Edmunds
...The look - the exterior is much cooler than the 2002 which I previously owned, but no vinyl side panels that saved me a bundle when I got hit in the older one (no damage |

Classic Small Suv With An Amazing Redisgned Interior And Classic Sturdy Exterior.Source: CarGurus...They have resolved these issues for sure! They have redone the inside to perfection giving the Tirbute a classic outside with all the beauty one desires inside. There are a LOT of buttons on the center dash but you get used to it. THere's a built in ipod/mp3 jack which is a must to any new car buyer. The outside keeps a classic small SUV look while adding new touches to distinguish model years. The 2008 has a more square look to it which makes the owner feel like its more rugged. Mazda is not stupid, people. The room in this SUV is not lacking either. By day it serves as taxi to twins who... |

Great little SUVSource: MSN Autos...I've added a K & N air filter and have seen the gas mileage increase over EPA estimates. She's currently getting around 24 MPGs in the city and 29 MPGs on the hwy. EPA sticker says 20/26. The air filter has also increased the horse power a bit. It handles and brakes well. The ride is a bit stiff, but we gave up the smoother ride of other crossover type SUVs because of the loads she carries. Cons: This vehicle should have dual lighted visor mirrors. For refueling, the gas access door should be activated from the inside of the vehicle. Overall: I'd buy it again--the style is great and when I... |

...The Mazda Tribute GS class is the highest model, but with it the only luxury u really get is the piano finish on the interior everything else is very rough like. |
