One of the best cars in its class.Source: Edmunds...Of the 5 cars I have owned over my lifetime this is the best car I have owned. The fun to drive quotient of this car should be the benchmark in its class. It does mean a firmer ride but for myself it is in no way objectionable. The interior features are astounding. Bluetooth, Bose stereo, heated seats, leather, etc. make for a very nice place to be. Overall you cannot go wrong with the Mazda 3, it is definitely a worthwhile competitor in the segment and in my opinion leaps and bounds better than the Civic and Corolla... |

High ValueSource: Edmunds
...Ive heard good things about Mazda cars, and liked the looks of the 3, but never drove a Mazda until my 1997 Honda Accord EX with 200,000 plus miles needed more in repairs than I wanted to spend. |

1st Time Mazda OwnerSource: Cars.com...I have been driving Fulll Sized Trucks or Mid-Sized SUV's for the last 5 years and I finally couldnt afford it anymore.I get sharp styling, plenty of interior room and a sharp litle auto-stick feature, and I cannot complain about getting about 25+ in the gas dept.Between the Lease-pament,Insurance and the HORRIBLE GAS mileage I realized that it was time to get smart about getting economical. I mean Yes I sure do miss my Dodge RAM-1500 but until they can make a pickup that get above 14 mpg,I am afreaid that I have to pass. Please understand that I am not endorsing purchasing a foreign vehicle... |

Solid Performance and Comfort for a Lead-Foot!Source: Cars.com...Excellent use of technology!!! I purchased the 5-door as a company vehicle and drive a ton of miles and haul all kinds of client materials, often crammed to the headliner. When I say; "I drive a car hard", you'll need to trust me but the Mazda 3 is a very tough car. The 5-speed auto shifts really well for a serious lead-foot. "Tuners" should love the 5-door for sure. My wife averages 27 mpg. I average 24 with the pedal to the floor most of the time. If I were a younger man, I would've bought the Mazda Speed 3. Just too old and lazy for manual tranny. The truth be told, the Lexus was more... |
