Not your everyday hybrid
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: styling is more like a sports car tha the standard "boxed" looking hybrids.
Bought it two weeks agao and still have 3/4 tank left.
am taking it on a trip from Mt to Az so I'm excited about the gas mileage.
Smooth ride in town and expect the same on the highway.
Cons: no navigation in the standard model. Overall: So far love th ride. feel like i'm riding in a fancy expensive car. find myself relaxing while driving due to the ride. love it...

VERY DISAPPOINTED
Source: Edmunds

...I have 1600 miles on 2011 Sonata Hybrid and have averaged 31 mpg over mostly highway driving to and from work 90 mile round trip which is 80% highway with light traffic and very few traffic lights.
Performance between 20-35 mph is sluggish, and engine clearly overrevs in that range.
Bluetooth connection with my Samsung Galaxy Edge Droid does not work.
You can establish a temporary connection which I did when I test drove the vehicle, but it does not hold.
Streaming audio almost never works due to bluetooth phone issues.
Sunroof rattles at highway speed. Front...

So far so good
Source: Edmunds

...Bought the Car in May 2011 and have been very happy with it.
I came from an Infiniti G35 and while this car inst nearly as lively or quick as the infiniti, it has a much smoother ride once you get going.
I can definitely feel the "lurch" when i start to accelerate but this isn't really a big deal when you get used to it.
I have read complaints about the brakes but i haven't noticed any problems yet.
I work about 25 miles from home so my daily commute is about 50 miles and I have been averaging 33.5 mpg and can get 36 if i feather the gas.
I saw some reviews where...

Disgruntled Passenger
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Economy Cons: Passenger front seat is substantially less comfortable than driver's seat: less padding, sits too low (cannot raise it), lumbar support is poor.
Overall: I love the car EXCEPT as a front seat passenger!...

Sonata Hybrid-- A Great Deal for the $ and the Warranty.
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Our family members are all large and tall. The 4 of us where able to get into the car easily.
With the front folks having the seats set to comfort for long legs the folks in the back were still with loads of leg room.
Very comfortable seats all around. Great set of included options--esp.
for the price. This car has great power and is great looking.
The blue sky metallic is a great color! Cons: Hard to find in my area--makes it hard to get a fantastic deal.
Otherwise, a 4x (or more) power passenger seat would be the cherry on top! Overall: If you are on the fence...

First Hybrid
Source: MSN Autos

...Pros: Smooth ride and moderate acceleration. Once you get your momentum up, let the Electric motor take over for a smooth ride.
Getting well over 42 MPH highway and easily 37+ in the city.
Promotes change in your driving habits. Voice command GPS is exceptional.
Tight turning radius for the size of the car. Cons: In first to second gear, the electric motor moves into the gas motor with a "hard" transition when its cold out of the garage.
Trip odometer requires several steps to read or reset the screen.
Overall: Love the car. Gets a lot of looks and compliments for a...

Great car!
Source: Edmunds

...Have almost 2,000 miles on my base Sonata Hybrid and I am impressed with the vehicle. High build quality and great gas mileage. Recent road trip returned 41+ mpg...

Love my premium Sonata Hybrid
Source: Edmunds

...I purchased one of the first to sell in Massachusetts, and it has been better than expected.
Styling, handling, gas mileage, navigation, roominess, quiet cabin, great value - it has it all.
I'm getting around 38 mpg, and I haven't driven on the highway as much as I usually do, where I have seen it get 40 mpg...

I hate my Sonata Hybrid
Source: Edmunds

...We bought this car for me since I am on the road more than my husband.
The gas mileage is significantly lower than promised.
I am so disappointed since that is the major reason we purchased this car.
My husband drives it now. We like the back up camera (we bought the top model) and the sun roof is a wow factor...but in the hot Texas sun we haven't really used it except at night.
It sits low so big bumps/dips scrap the bottom. We spent more money on this car because the promised gas mileage ( saleman said) I wish I had made a different choice.
The dealer has told us...
