Today on Green Car Reports: We check out two green concept cars, the Toyota Yaris Hybrid-R and Smart FourJoy, that are set to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show--plus, the U.S. military experiments with electric vehicles. All this and more on Green Car Reports.

California will extend electric car access to its High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes until 2019.

Featuring technology from the TS030 Le Mans prototype, the Toyota Yaris Hybrid-R Concept is no ordinary hatchback.

Orlando, Florida is working with rental agencies, charging stations, hotels, and theme parks, to encourage tourists to drive electric cars.

At Fort Carson, Colorado the U.S. military is installing quick charging stations for a small fleet of electric vehicles.

Toyota is recalling 2006-2010 Highlander Hybrid and 2006-2008 Lexus RX400h models over faulty transistors.

Finally, Elon Musk has finalized plans for a Tesla cross-country road trip.
