Is Tesla 'Bricking' Story Just An Angry Owner's...
However good the parent, the arrival of a new baby can have the unfortunate effect of making older siblings feel neglected and unloved.
We didn’t expect those kind of feelings in the automotive world, but a stunt recently posted on the Internet involving a Tesla Roadster reminds us of a jealous sibling clamoring for attention after the arrival of a new baby.
Or maybe it was the product of a drunken bar bet. We may never know.
Whatever the reasons behind it, a Danish Tesla Roadster over from Copenhagen recently let a horse and its rider jump clear over his or her luxury sports car as part of Copenhagen Eventing 2012, an international horse-riding event.
And, as is often the case when it comes to crazy stunts, someone was there to film it and publish it on the Internet.
From there, the film was posted to the Tesla Motors Forum quicker than an accomplished horse rider could complete the Helsinki step-fence.
Sadly, the eight-second video has no sound, but it clearly shows a horse cleanly and gracefully jumping over the bright red Tesla Roadster in front of a crowd of amused onlookers.
With a low roofline and sleek body, the Tesla Roadster certainly makes an easier eventing fence than the baby-fresh 2012 Model S.
But even though the 7-seat Sedan is the new kid on the block, we have to wonder how many Roadster owners would let someone jump over their pride and joy.
If it we owned a Roadster, and someone asked us, we’d have to say “Neigh.”
