Green Car Reports has been nominated in the "Best Transportation Website" field within the Transportation category, one of nine different fields altogether.

We're competing with our friends at AutoblogGreen and Green Car Congress, along with the team at StreetsBlog Network and a handful of bicycling sites.

The contest runs from now only through the end of March, so vote today if you'd like to see us take home the laurels. The winners will be announced during the week of April 2-6.

TreeHugger launched its Best of Green award program in 2009, "as a way to recognize and honor the people, companies, groups and ideas that are helping push sustainability mainstream."

The following year, the site editors added a Readers' Choice Award for each category--meaning that for each award category, TreeHugger editors will choose a Best of Green Award winner, and the readers will choose a Readers' Choice Award winner.

We thank TreeHugger for this honor. And we hope you, our readers, will click the link above and vote for GCR as the Readers' Choice winner.

  1. I voted for you, you deserve it. So far, you are out ahead at 23.87%.

  2. I certainly appreciate most contributions to this blog, but I did get a bit disappointed by the somewhat skeptical undertone in some reporting recently, and especially what I feel is a glass half empty approach of all things Tesla. So now I don't quite know what to think. I still voted for GCR though, benefit of the doubt and all...

  3. I guess the real question is, is there a better site with a better tone, covering this subject matter. If so, vote for them, otherwise, GCR deserves our support, reservations notwithstanding.
