2013 Dodge Dart: 2012 Detroit Auto Show Live Photos

Follow Antony

We'll admit it - we're excited about the 2013 Dodge Dart.

Why shouldn't we be? It's a great-looking compact with a good range of efficient engines, with high equipment levels. It's also a spiritual successor to the respected Neon, and should banish memories of the resented Caliber.

The model will now be rotating for all to see on the auto show turntables at Detroit, but in the meantime we have a full photo gallery for you to study at your leisure.

If you're as excited as we are, you can find plenty more Dodge Dart content here on Green Car Reports.

You can find a video of the live reveal here, and full details on the 2013 Dodge Dart here. There's also a quick video and some leaked photos here.

Pricing for the Dart hasn't been revealed just yet, but with engines including an Alfa Romeo-sourced 1.4-liter turbo with 160-horsepower and 40 mpg potential, we can't wait for our first drive...

  1. Doesn't look anything like a dart. Guess you can remake anything and call it whatever you want but it sure doesn't look like the dart.

  2. Actually, Callie, the young (under-30) buyers that Dodge will primarily be targeting with this car have only the haziest notion of what an old Dart looks like. Remember, the nameplate was killed in 1976--before they were born. Dodge says they do, however, apparently have favorable associations with it, hence the choice of Dart over the other options:
