It's finally here! Well, the trailer is anyway...

We announced just under a month ago that the long awaited sequel to the film Who Killed The Electric Car?, the logically titled Revenge Of The Electric Car (ROTEC), would be previewed with a trailer released when 10,000 people became fans of the film's Facebook page.

In this time, the required number of fans has been reached, and with the last 300 needed signing up over the last 24 hours, the trailer is now available for all to see. Without further ado, here it is:

The film follows four groups in a race to get electric cars on the roads, from Tesla Motors under the drive and determination of Elon Musk, through General Motors with the Volt and Carlos Ghosn in charge of Nissan with their LEAF, to a small group of enthusiasts converting classic Porsches to electric power.

The finished product will no doubt be a fascinating insight into some of the biggest electric car launches over the past few years, with a great deal of behind-the-scenes information and interviews with some of the biggest players in the industry.

Revenge Of The Electric Car is predicted for release in Spring 2011. For more information, you can check out ROTEC's Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/revengeoftheelectriccar

  1. Very cool, can't wait to see it. I have Who Killed The Electric Car on DVD I also downloaded from iTunes so I have it on my MAC and iPhone. You can't kill something as simple and brilliant, as the electric car.
