Since the debut of the 2010 Camaro, we have seen a number of interesting things from the customizing sector, including the T-Top Camaro we reported on earlier this month. However, with the Pontiac brand being a thing of the past, there are people looking for something that GM just isn’t going to produce any longer—the Trans Am. Heide Performance Products has the answer with what Inside Line calls the “company's as-yet-unnamed neo-Firebird.” Name or not, it looks like a ’69 Trans Am and I would part one in my garage tomorrow if I had extra cash to burn.

HPP also has a retro-style Camaro that has a revised front clip to look like the original flip-up headlight RS Camaros of the late ‘60s. Both cars were built for this years SEMA show in Las Vegas. Think they were a hit with the crowd? Even if you aren’t a muscle car or bow-tie fan, you have to give HPP credit for bring back what is now an extinct bird. That said, we haven't seen much said about the availability or price of either car.

Want to know more, then check out the HPP Facebook page where they documented the build process on both the retro-styled Camaro and the “neo-Firebird.”
