Yesterday, the reports from the Geneva Motor Show kept rolling in and one that captured our attention in particular was the MINI Countryman World Premier. Maybe it was the reality style lead in video on Miniwood: MINI takes over Geneva! or possibly it was the enormous hats that were covering the Countryman on the stage during the world premier. In either case, the personality of the MINI is coming through loud and clear.

What is so special about the all-new MINI Countryman? Well, for starters this is the first MINI to have a sedan like four-door configuration. It is also the first MINI to have the ALL4 all-wheel drive system. This isn’t just a MINI Cooper with all-wheel drive though; it is truly a redesigned vehicle with short overhangs, high window line and more aggressive stance. Not to mention the rear quarter windows that aren’t found on any of its sister models. Even the interior is well thought out with rear seats that adjust fore and aft and tilt. You can even get the MINI Countryman with a three-seat bench or the standard single buckets in the back—even better, the bench is a no-cost option. Check out the videos below (even though they don’t feature the Countryman as much as the MINI spirit).
