Fisker Karma

Some of the more interesting features of the Karma include:

  • 22-inch alloy wheels and tires
  • A self-contained climate-control system and  full-length solar roof to help with the charge
  • LED taillights
  • Lightweight material and rear-wheel-drive with a near 50-50 balance for excellent handling.
  • Two Q-Drive modes -- Stealth and Sport. Stealth permits the electronic system to handle everything according to traffic conditions, while Sport gives you access to the full range of power

The Karma, according to Fisker's numbers is no slouch, with a 0 to 60 time of less than 6 seconds and a top end of 125.

Altogether, the country may certainly be getting its money's worth with this vehicle in this increasingly "green" world. Eventually, Fisker's will employ 2,000 directly building their cars and another 2,000 to 3,000 in support jobs.

  1. GM takes 4 years to bring out the Volt. They already have it fully designed and built 300 prototypes which they are testing to death before they launch for November next year.
Fisker is going to start from scratch, and do the same in less than 2 years? I shudder to think of the quality. I guess the customers will do the testing.

    Bad stuff?

  2. $40,000 for the "Project Nina" car is just a little above the average for a quality new car. Anything less would end up as a clown car from the circus. Granted, $80,000 for the Karma is out of the range of most people.
