BMW Vision EfficientDynamics Teaser

Sunday! Sunday! Sunday! That's when we'll finally hear more about the BMW concept dubbed Vision EfficientDynamics. Until then, all we've got is these teaser images and the short, equally coy YouTube video below.

The blogosphere is brimming with speculation as to what BMW is hiding, but we may have to wait until the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show, when the Bavarian automaker is expected to unveil the new vehicle.

Some auto journalists anticipate that an eco-friendly sports car, with an electric or electric-diesel hybrid powertrain is in the works. Any electric component of the design would be a significant step for BMW, which has mostly focused on developing diesel technology. The monstrous exception to that is the upcoming X6 Hybrid which will reportedly be the most powerful hybrid on planet earth.
