Behind every iconic brand is a skilled marketing team led by a brilliant visionary. Think Mini, think VW. Kerri Martin is the visionary leader to iPod-ify those brands, to make them hip, interesting, desirable. Today, Coda Automotive announced that Martin, 39, will be their first Chief Marketing Officer. Her first task will undoubtedly be the launch of Coda's four-door, five-passenger electric sedan in next year.

"Kerri is a welcome addition to the Coda team and will be instrumental in architecting a fully integrated, customer-centric Coda brand experience," said Kevin Czinger, Coda's President and CEO.

"I'm thrilled to be part of the electric vehicle movement, especially with Coda, a company that is intent on disrupting the category conventions and has the vision to reinvent the car buying and ownership experience," said Martin.

Martin graduated cum laude with a BA in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was the first client ever elected to the Board of Directors of The One Club. She began her career more than 15 years ago with advertising and public relations agency Laughlin Constable. Besides working with the BMW Mini and Volkswagen brands, she has helped reinvent the BMW Motorcycles brand and managed the Harley-Davidson MotorClothes marketing program.
