Nissan believes that it will have a real opportunity for their upcoming EV to beat the much talked about Chevrolet Volt to the U.S. market.

They plans to bring their upcoming unnamed and unseen EV to market here as soon as fall of 2010. If Nissan can stay on track, it will have the chance to bring a mass produced, compact sized, electric vehicle to the U.S. before any other major make.

The Nissan EV will be a Sentra sized car priced around $25,000 after incentives and offer a 100 miles range.

It's an exciting race and next year will surely be even more exciting. Stay with us as Nissan plans to announce the name of their upcoming EV in the near future.
