Toyota Launches Certified Used Hybrid Program

Toyota has decided to extend their certified used car program to include hybrid models.  Their new slogan for their certified used hybrid campaign, "The best new hybrids make the best used hybrids."

Toyota's certified used car program has been around for more than a decade and now will extend to include hybrid vehicles.  In addition to some of the benefits of the certified used program, the certified used hybrid program will add in a 7 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty and an 8 year 100,000 mile factory hybrid battery warranty.

Additional inspections will be carried out on hybrid models during the certification process.  The extras include inspections of the hybrid's electronic control unit, and the battery system.

The certified used hybrid programs is intended to give buyers an option in used vehicles when they are searching for environmentally friendly vehicles and need reassurance about the longevity of hybrid vehicles in general and battery life in particular.

    "Great Program"

    The Certified Hybrid program not only gives you piece of mind (since the cars all go through a strict certification program) but you also get a used car warranty which is cool!
