2012 Mitsubishi i To Go On Sale Across Europe

No sooner does Mitsubishi still not have any i MIEVs on the road in significant number, than it is introducing a new version of the vehicle.

The automaker reports that it is set to debut a Sport Air version of their i MIEV electric car at the Geneva Auto Show in March.

This vehicle will give drivers "a greater bias on exhilarating driving pleasure." It is said to have a more powerful electric motor and a lower center of gravity than the city car to improve driveability.

It also appears to sport a solar roof panel.

Just by looking at the shape/complexity of this thing, I'm thinking it is not going to be 'green lit' for production anytime soon...but a good exercise in 'what we could do'
