What's a sporty but somehow sleek lime-green, powered only by lithium-ion batteries, and can dart from zero to 100 kmh in less than 11 seconds?

The Mercedes Benz BlueZero E-Cell, slated to appear in January at the North American International Auto Show. One in a set of three alternatively-powered vehicles Mercedes Benz will unveil in Detroit, the BlueZero E-cell (pictured) will have a fully-charged range of up to 200 kilometers. The other two, called the BlueZero E-Cell Plus (gas-electric hybrid with a 3-cylinder engine) and BlueZero F-Cell (with a 90 kW hydrogen fuel cell), boast ranges of 600 km and 400 km, respectively.
